File & Image FormatsCurrently, we can accept art, images and files in a variety of ways, including building the entire card based on your sketch and hand-written copy. ImagesOriginal art - We can photograph your original art for you or have it photographed to create a digital image. To scan - If you have prints, slides or film of the art you want to print, we can scan it to a digital file. We will use your source material as a color reference for printing. Digital - We can start from your existing digital images, if they have enough resolution (300- dpi at the printing size). We would also like to see a print, slide or transparency that has accurate colors which we can use to compare against, since digital images will not always print the colors you see on screen and every computer shows colors differently. top ContentYou can provide the text for your item in a variety of ways as well. You can type the content directly into an email message, send us a Word document, an Excel file, or a plain text file. top Finished FilesIf you prefer to do your own layout and bring us finished files, we can accept high-resolution PDF files, or files in InDesign, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Pagemaker. Files in MS Word, Publisher, and other programs will need to be converted and may not convert intact. top |
